After a night that saw my sweet girl throw up twice, I am happy to report that she is back to her normal self this morning. That includes being annoyed by her baby brother. She asked me to come and get him off of her so in true mom fashion I carried my camera with me and immediately both of them turned all grins for me. Think they are used to having their picture taken? Nevermind my dirty faced boy, we just finished breakfast.
It's been a pretty rough day here in our house. I haven't felt well all day and just about 30 minutes ago my sweet girl threw up. She's now sleeping oh-so-peacefully. Let's pray we all get to feeling better soon and that it stays away from Camden. I did manage to snap a shot of the daily chaos that is our life. Toys, toys and more toys...everywhere! I'm sure many of you can relate. 
Wow! Look at me getting day 5 done early. I have to credit my sweet husband with this photo though. He took it before heading off to work early this morning. Our sleeping angel! It's the only time she's not talking and sometimes not even then! 
A game of Candy Land was in order tonight after Camden went to bed. Should I be proud that I won both games? 
As they were waiting on breakfast on the last day of their week-long visit, I just couldn't resist snapping a shot of the our kiddos and our niece and nephew on the couch in the den. 
Photo #2 is my sweet boy at not such a sweet moment. He woke up a very crabby patty from his nap. His poor little face is still healing from an incident involving his sister's Princess car and the little boys next door.

My first photo of 2009 was just a few minutes after midnight. That's Emma on the right, her cousin Lydia, and her BFF Katie Beth. Yes, I let my 5 year old stay up to ring in the new year. And yes, this is technically a special event, but I promise to take everyday photos this year, too!
