We had lunch with Grammie, or Gee, as she has come to be called at Logan's today. Yes, I carried my camera with me. I've got 2 pictures today. I just couldn't choose between these and the one of all three of them didn't turn out.

Today's photo makes me chuckle. Anyone who knows me knows that I really don't like our kitchen. It's my least favorite room of our house. Not because I don't like to cook or be in there. It's because it's small with limited counter space and not anywhere close to my dream kitchen. It's functional, but up until our mini-remodel last spring did I even like looking at it. Now, I can at least stand back and admire the Corian countertops, new cooktop and oven and my pride and joy, the refinished cabinets. I took this picture today because my kitchen was actually completely clean for a short time today. You've got to understand that this a rarity. With two kids, there is always some kind of dirty dish. It really is a HUGE improvement over what it was so I shouldn't complain. Now if we could just get someone to come and buy our house...

First of all, let me just say thank you to those who have stopped by this blog and left comments (and those of you who just visit, too) on a daily basis. I'm having so much fun and I'm glad you are along for the ride!

I really love this shot of Emma in color, but in an effort to continue to work on my b/w conversions, I thought I'd post that version as my photo for today. Can I just tell you that I love my girl? She's such a camera ham and will pose for me pretty much any time I ask her to. My mom would tell you that to be around Emma causes her to experience deja vu as I was exactly like her as a kid. Guess I don't have to wonder where she gets it, but you've got to admit she's a natural.

Daddy was in charge of bathtime tonight and that always means something fun. He asked me to come into the bathroom and when he does that I don't dare go without my camera. This would be the 2nd hairdo of the bath. Camden is having a blast though.

Today's photo is attempt to get better at processing b/w photos. I drool over Sarah's and Brenda's photog skills. I'm absolutely miserable at the whole b/w thing and sooooo don't want to be. Please, if you have any tips please feel free to help me out.

Rain or shine, cold or hot, Emma loves to wear this dress! We bought it for her on our cruise to Mexico in '07 and she wears the mess out of it around the house. Today was no exception.

Getting it in under the wire tonight! On a quick trip to see Daddy in Round Rock today, I snapped this shot of the kids watching the train pass by while on the playscape at the ballpark. I love when I can catch them not watching the camera.

I still haven't really figured out how I am going to scrap all of my P365 photos, but I couldn't resist using this template and kit from K Studio to record my first successful week. (You can pick up Kristen's kit and templates a A5D tomorrow!)
